Hungary to open several trading houses next door
Hungary plans to open 22 trading houses in neighboring countries next month, state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Levente Magyar told business daily Napi Gazdaság yesterday.
This is part of the Hungarian governmentʼs comprehensive plan, which includes opening to eastern and southern markets, but also involves emphasizing the extension of trade relations with neighboring countries, Romania and Germany being among the key players, Magyar said.
Hungary first set up trading houses to help establish markets in the East and to-date has 26 trading houses located around the globe.
