Hungary, Egypt to sign financing agreement on €900 mln train order

Hungary is expected to sign an agreement with Egypt, which will contain a financing offer for a €900 million train order, Bertalan Havasi the head of the Prime Ministerʼs Press Office, told Hungarian news agency MTI in Cairo.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi are expected to sign several agreements in Cairo, including the financing of 700 carriages, Havasi said. 

The Hungarian prime minister arrived in Egypt late yesterday for an official visit, during which he and his delegation are scheduled to meet Egyptian government officials and business leaders in the coming days.
