Hungarian, Swedish ICT companies at Stockholm forum
Information and communications technology companies from Hungary and Sweden participated at a forum at the Hungarian embassy in Stockholm on yesterday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade state secretary László Szabó told Hungarian news agency MTI on the phone from the Swedish capital.
About ten Hungarian companies and a number of Swedish ones participated at the forum, Szabó said.
“The atmosphere was so positive that a group of Swedish investors plans to visit Hungary soon, perhaps even next month,” he added.
Szabó met with Sweden’s state secretary for foreign trade Oscar Stenstrom during his two-day visit to Stockholm, as well as Ericsson’s VP for government relations Ulf Pehrsson. The telecommunications infrastructure company employs about 2,000 people in Hungary and is building a new headquarters in Budapest.
