Hungarian officials hold talks in Japan
Deputy state secretary from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade László Szabó, CEO of the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH) Zsanett Ducsai-Oláh, and chairman of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) Róbert Ésik are holding talks in Japan on strengthening economic relations.
Szabó told Hungarian news agency MTI about the talks on the phone yesterday.
MNKH signed a cooperation agreement with the International Economic Exchange Association, which acts as MNKHʼs Japanese representative in the area around the capital.
HIPA signed a cooperation agreement with its Japanese counterpart, the Japan Institute for Overseas Investment.
Szabó held talks with representatives of industrial materials maker Toray-Zoltek, logistics company Mitsui Soko and software developer NEC Corporation.
Szabó will meet with Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Miki Yamada today.
