Hungarian exhibitors show at Russian farm expo
Thirteen Hungarian exhibitors are showing at the Hungarian stand at Russiaʼs PRODEXPO 2016 in Moscow, Hungary’s Ministry of Agriculture said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Deputy farm minister István Nagy paid a visit to the show and also held talks with Russiaʼs deputy farm minister Yevgeny Gromyko, the ministry said.
Changes on the market caused by the Russian embargo were stressed at the talks, and the sides reviewed opportunities to share farm and food industry technology.
Nagy informed his counterpart that the ministry is organising a Hungarian-Russian regional farm forum in Budapest on February 18. So far, seven Russian regions have signalled they will participate at the event.
The sides agreed that the next meeting of the Hungarian-Russian agriculture working group would take place in Budapest in May.
