Govʼt reallocates HUF 18.5 bln for industrial parks

The government is reallocating HUF 18.5 billion of budget funds to various industrial parks as part of its "Modern Cities" development programme, a government resolution published in the official gazette Magyar Közlöny on Tuesday shows, as reported by Hungarian news agency MTI.   

The industrial park in Zalaegerszeg will receive HUF 5.71 billion of funding, and the industrial parks in Nagykanizsa HUF 3 bln, Érd HUF 2.81 bln, Nyíregyháza HUF 2.87 bln, and Békéscsaba HUF 4.08 bln.

In two other resolutions, the government also decided to provide some HUF 29 bln of development funds to various universities and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA).
