Home savings bank Fundamenta Lakáskasszaʼs outlays could reach HUF 200 billion in 2016, half of which could be new home loan outlays, and the other half deposits paid to clients, the bank said today, according Hungarian news agency MTI.

Total outlays reached HUF 175 bln last year.

Fundamenta expects new home loan outlays to reach HUF 400 bln this year in Hungary, meaning that they could preserve their 25% market share.

The quality of the home savings bankʼs loan portfolio is good: Only 1.3% of its loans are more than 90 days overdue against the 13% average on the market of home loans.

Chairman-CEO Károly Gergely said the home savings bank has already given credit to 1,500 clients buying homes using the governmentʼs revamped home purchase subsidy scheme for families with children.
