EPAM Systems to spend HUF 3.6 bln on expansions in Hungary
U.S.-based software developer EPAM Systems will spend HUF 3.6 billion to expand its capacity at bases in the Hungarian cities of Debrecen and Szeged, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced at a press conference in Budapest today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The government is awarding EPAM Systems with a HUF 1.3 bln grant for the investment, which will create 365 new jobs by the end of 2018, Szijjártó said.
At present, EPAM Systemʼs Hungarian unit employs about 1,500 people.
