MOL collects 464 tonnes of used cooking oil in Hungary

Oil and gas company MOL on Monday said it collected 464 tonnes of used cooking oil from households in Hungary last year, 30% more than in 2019, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

MOL has collected more than 2,200 tonnes of used household cooking oil in Hungary since it started the practice in 2011. The company collects the oil at more than 350 sites country-wide.

MOL Group aims to become a key player in the circular economy in the region.
