Hungarian oil and gas company MOL has signed a contract with Croatian pipeline operator Janaf for the delivery of 2.9 million tonnes of crude this year, Janaf's board said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Janaf did not reveal the transaction price.

The contract includes storage capacity for 79,385 cubic meters of oil at Janaf's Omisalj terminal and for 70,000 cubic meters at the terminal in Sisak.

In January, Janaf signed a contract for the delivery of half a million tonnes of oil with MOL valid until the end of March 2023.

MOL's main refinery in Hungary, south of the capital, has a refining capacity of 8.1 million tonnes per year.
