EIF, Hungary sign agreement on financing for agrarian SMEs
The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Hungaryʼs Rural Credit Guarantee Foundation have signed an agreement to enhance access to financing for Hungarian SMEs in the agricultural sector, the European Commission said Monday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The European Commission said up to 2,000 companies could access HUF 50 billion in financing under the agreement. The agreement was signed within the framework of the EUʼs Competitiveness of Enterprises and SMEs (COSME) program.
