Daily bourse turnover falls 43% in March

Average daily share turnover of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) fell 43% to HUF 8.6 billion in April from the previous month, the BSE announced today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Total share turnover came to HUF 181 bln in April compared to HUF 286 bln a month earlier.  

Concorde Securities brokered the most share deals in March: HUF 83 bln or 23% of the total. Equilor Investment was runner-up, with trades of HUF 60 bln or 16.5% of the total. Wood and Company took third place with a market share of 15.7%, generating trades of HUF 57 bln.
