Companies unite to improve dairy performance

Hungarian agriculture firm Solum and animal feed producer Adexgo have entered a two-year program by which the companies aim to develop a new veterinary, reproductive and cattle feeding system to improve the performance of dairy cattle, Solum CEO Sándor Vida told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

Half of the HUF 555 million project costs will be covered from a grant, while Solum will cover two-thirds of the remaining costs from internal funds, the news agency reported.

Adexgo posted revenue of HUF 610 million in 2014, while Solum had revenue of HUF 3.3 billion in 2014 and HUF 3 bln in 2015, MTI added.
