BUX finishes session higher

The Budapest Stock Exchangeʼs main BUX index finished up 0.11% at 26,871.59 on Friday.

OTP Bank lost 0.74% to HUF 7,215 on turnover of HUF 3.9 bln from a HUF 8.3 bln session total. 

Oil and gas company MOL advanced 1.28% to HUF 16,650 on turnover of HUF 2.2 bln.

Drugmaker Richter edged down 0.02% to HUF 5,414 on turnover of HUF 1.7 bln.

Magyar Telekom rose 0.42% to HUF 473 on turnover of HUF 0.4 bln.

The bourseʼs mid-cap BUMIX finished 0.09% lower at 1,788.59.

Elsewhere in the region, the WIG-20 in Warsaw was down 0.07% while Pragueʼs PX index gained 0.77%.

Western Europeʼs major indices were lower before the end of trading. The FTSE100 in London was down 0.86%, the DAX30 in Frankfurt lost 2.33%, and the CAC40 in Paris fell 2.67%.
