Bridge funded in part by MOL opens in Pakistan
A bridge, partly funded by the local unit of Hungarian oil and gas company MOL, over the Indus River at Khushal Garh was inaugurated yesterday by a Hungarian delegation, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The 400-meter-long bridge is expected to support all kinds of business activities in the underdeveloped region, MOL Pakistan managing director Ákos Grósz said.
The bridge was inaugurated during a visit by the Hungarian delegation to the country, headed by state secretary for economic diplomacy Levente Magyar. Following a meeting with Pakistanʼs Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the state secretary said the two discussed opportunities for the countries to cooperate in the areas of farming and water management, MTI reported.
MOL has been present in Pakistan since 1999, MTI noted, adding that it has licenses in five exploration areas in the country and is the operator in two of the ventures. MOLʼs unit in Pakistan employs about 500 people.
