BAMOSZ: Investment fund assets rise 0.8% in July

Assets in investment funds managed by members of the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSZ) rose 0.8% in July on the previous month to HUF 5,677 bln, BAMOSZ said Tuesday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Assets in money market funds fell 1.4% to HUF 1,067 bln on net redemptions of HUF 14.7 bln. 

Assets in property funds grew 1.5% to HUF 664 bln as net sales of units reached HUF 9.2 bln.

Assets in derivative funds rose 10% to HUF 148 bln on net unit sales of HUF 7.5 bln.

Assets in bond funds were up 1.8% at HUF 1,331 bln as investors made net investments of HUF 14.4 bln.

Mixed fund assets edged up 0.2% to HUF 751 bln even on net redemptions of HUF 5.2 bln.

Assets in equity funds increased 2.3% to HUF 267 bln even with net withdrawals of HUF 1 bln.

Assets in principal-protected funds fell 0.6% to HUF 386 bln as net redemptions reached HUF 10.3 bln.

Assets in absolute-yield funds increased 1.3% to HUF 774 bln as funds attracted HUF 3 bln of capital.
