Yves Rocher sales climb 31% in Hungary
French cosmetics company Yves Rocher's revenue in Hungary rose 31% to HUF 2 bln last year, the local unit's sales director reported yesterday. Growth in sales could slow this year, but is not likely to decrease, Judit Venczel said.
Despite new legislation that will force stores to close on Sunday, the company has no plans in the pipeline for layoffs or store closures, she added. Yves Rocher currently has 21 shops and a staff of 115 in Hungary. The company opened four stores last year and hopes to open a few more in 2015.
