Transport

Hungary’s low-cost airline Wizz Air is launching a new Budapest-Porto route as of September 4, operating two flights a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, according to a press release issued today.

After Wizz Air launched flights between Budapest and Lisbon last March, Portugal became popular among Hungarians traveling to the country for business or leisure purposes, the company noted in the press release. This March, Wizz Air also launched flights to Porto from Warsaw, the company added.

With the newly announced flight, Wizz Air will be operating 51 routes to 23 countries from Budapest. This year Wizz Air announced the launch of ten new routes.
