Wizz Air gains IATA IOSA benchmark

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has passed the Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), considered one of the most prestigious accolades in the industry, the company announced today in a press statement.

The company statement noted said that since its launch in 2004, Wizz Air has “invested significant time and energy into developing its security policies and processes, as well as the improvement and training of its employees, in order to meet worldwide quality standards.” 

“Wizz Air is committed to achieving the highest standards possible in every field it operates in,” CEO József Váradi said. “We are proud to have gained the IOSA registration, which strengthens the security policy established in our company.” The CEO noted that security is the number one priority for Wizz Air.
