Wizz Air announces two new routes

Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air is launching two new routes from Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, to the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in the Canaries, according to a press release issued today.

The first flight to Fuerteventura is scheduled to take off on October 30 and fly once a week on Sundays, while the first flight to Lanzarote is expected to take of on November 2, flying once a week on Wednesday, according to the statement by Wizz Air. Since 2015 the low-fare airline has been flying to Tenerife in the vicinity.

“Our announcement today is another emphasis on our commitment to operate as the de facto airline of Hungary… we continue to offer our clients improved services, while keeping the lowest price possible in the market,” CEO József Váradi said today.
