Velux Hungary’s revenue up 11% last year
The Hungarian subsidiary of Danish window manufacturer Velux saw revenues rise by 11% last year, as compared to the previous year, reaching HUF 34.5 billion, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Higher exports and higher demand due to an increase of renovations on the domestic market are the chief factors contributing to the rise in sales, the news agency noted.
Velux Hungary’s expenditures on expanding production exceeded HUF 3 bln last year. The company is also planning to boost capacity this year, MTI added.
According to public records, Velux Magyarország had after-tax profit of HUF 1.1 bln in 2015, MTI said.
