Tutti drink powder producer expects HUF 4 bln in revenues

The revenue of Hungarian foodstuff producer Tutti Élelmiszeripari is expected to reach HUF 4 billion this year, exceeding last year’s HUF 3.4 bln, Ottó Prohaszka, owner of Tutti, told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.
The company expects sales on foreign markets to exceed HUF 1.2-1.3 bln, as compared to last year’s HUF 767 million, the owner said, adding that the company anticipates dynamic grow in the Western European and Middle Eastern markets.
The company, which operates a plant in Rábapatone, near Győr, employs approximately 100 workers, MTI reported. Instant powdered drinks account for 35% of sales, ice cream powder for 15%, operating drink vending machines also for 15% and sports dietary supplements for 20%, MTI added.
The owner noted that revenue in 2014 reached an extremely high HUF 4.72 bln, due to the one-off effect of participating in the European Unionʼs food aid program.
