Tokaj’s Patricius Winery receives “Cellars of the Year” accolade

Patricius Winery, based in the Tokaj region and established in the 17th century by the Kékessy family, was named the “Cellar of the Year” for 2016 at a ceremony in Bodrogkisfalud yesterday.
The title given to the winery, which grows grapes in seven vineyards with a combined area of 85 hectares, acknowledges the work of vintners who raise the profile of Hungarian wine on domestic and foreign markets, Hungarian news agency MTI reported. Patricius had net revenue of HUF 319 million in 2015, the agency said.
