Ten Hungarian companies were selected among the 1,000 most inspiring companies in Europe, the first edition of London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) “1,000 Companies to Inspire Europe” shows.

The report, which was published for the first time with a special focus on Europe, identifies the area’s most exciting and dynamic small and medium-sized businesses, the report says.

The ten Hungarian companies selected are Carboferr Zrt., Colas Hungária, Euro One Számítástechnikai, Ferrogép Zrt., Geohidroterv, Hunland Hongarije, Innocore Vision, Keviép, MPF Industry Group and NISZ, according to the website of LSEG.

Talking about the 1,000 companies the LSEG picked, Xavier Rolet KBE, CEO, London Stock Exchange Group said that “these companies are the engine – and the future – of the European economy”. He added that in the eurozone, SMEs offer two thirds of jobs, and their added value to the economy reaches approximately 60%. He noted that if SMEs are properly supported, they can grow both employment and revenue at exceptional rates.

“The annual reports examine in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the European economies”, LSEG says on its website.

The full report and the list of the companies is available at the London Stock Exchange Groupʼs website.
