Tarr Completes EU-funded Network Development

Hungarian telecommunications company Tarr has invested over HUF 870 mln in the rollout of a Gigabit-capable network in the Szigetvár District (187 km southwest of Budapest), according to a report by state news wire MTI.

European Union funding covered HUF 784 mln of the cost of the investment, the company told MTI.

Tarr had net sales revenue of HUF 12.6 bln last year, public records show.
