The Hungarian unit of Japanese car manufacturer Suzuki foresees selling approximately 5,200 cars in Hungary this year, which would be a 10% rise as compared to last year’s figures, Magyar Suzuki marketing chief János Hársfalvi told Hungarian news agency MTI.

According to the marketing chief, imported models will play a big role in the increase

Last year, 4,735 Suzukis were sold in Hungary, the marketing chief said, adding that approximately 98% of them were produced at Suzukiʼs plant in Esztergom, north of the capital. Swift models made up almost 37% of the sales, he added.

There are 76 Suzuki brand dealers in Hungary, according to MTI.
