Hungary-based SeaMaster Products Kft, a manufacturer of deep frozen products, has decided to invest HUF 550 million in establishing a new production facility at its base in Debrecen, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

Half of the costs of the 2,000 square-meter craft pizza production plant will be funded from European Union and Hungarian government grant money. The plant is expected to create jobs for 18-20 people and would turn out 4 million pizzas annually.

The vast majority, almost 98%, of the produced pizzas are expected to be sold abroad in countries such as Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, according to MTI.
