Report: Jaguar Land Rover chooses Austria over Hungary

Pharma

Jaguar Land Rover automobile manufacturing company chose to open its latest plant in Graz, Austria, dashing hopes that they would open a factory in Hungary, online news portal hvg.hu reported today.

The report noted that the English multinational automotive company previously suggested that it might open its new automobile manufacturer factory in Debrecen, Szombathely, Zalaegerszeg or in Győr.

According to hvg.hu, the company’s growth rate exceeded the capacity of their original equipment manufacturing plants in the United Kingdom, and therefore the expansion became necessary.

Jaguar Land Rover was purchased by the Indian company Tata Motors Limited from Ford Motor Company in 2008.
