Report: Garden pool sales jump due to heatwave
Due to the extreme heatwave of the last couple of weeks, the number garden pools purchased in Hungary rose by 300-400%, with products in the HUF 20,000-50,000 price range being the most popular, Hungarian do-it-yourself goods company Praktiker said today in a press release.
According to the press release, the most popular pools are the fast set garden pools, due to their easy maintenance. The smaller garden pools are being sold for as much as HUF 10,000, while the larger pools go for up to HUF 32,000.
Praktiker Hungary has 19 stores in the country and has a headcount of 1,100.
