Record number of applications for InnoMax Awards crediting innovative solutions

Awards

The InnoMax Awards was founded by what is now Invitech Solutions, the Invitel Group business serving corporate and wholesale partners, back in 2009 in order to draw attention to those firms adapting best to quickly changing market conditions with innovative solutions.

This year three categories were open for applications: Business, InnoApps and InnoMax Nonprofit.

“The number of companies willing to introduce and develop ICT technologies is on the rise, a process that is useful for society as well,” said Dr. Károly Balázs Solymár, deputy state secretary of infocommunications at the Ministry of National Development, a member of the InnoMax panel. “Our goal is to make such solutions available to the widest possible audience.”

With the value of prizes having gone up considerably, and the eligibility criteria simplified, a record high 130 applications were filed this year.

Innovations included a mobile app revolutionizing language learning, an internet of things solution helping to maintain contact with elderly family members, and artificial intelligence-based technologies assisting the physician-patient relationship.

“The awards provide an opportunity for Invitech Solutions to stress that companies need to focus on social goals as well, and that apart from profit the public good is just as important,” said Imre Mártha, COO of Invitel Group.
