New Tenant at Wing’s East Gate Pro Business Park

Logistics

Wing Industrial has concluded a long-term agreement with the Hungarian subsidiary of a parcel logistics group operating in the CEE region to lease the fourth hall in East Gate Pro Business Park.

The tenant has nearly 3,000 pick-up points in Hungary, and with this hall, built specifically to suit the parcel logistics services it provides, it will strengthen its position in the region, Wing tells the Budapest Business Journal.

To suit the tenant’s needs, hall B2 will have a higher proportion of office space and larger manipulation and parking areas than standard warehouses, as well as dock and level gates for a cross-docking function, and a heat pump system for heating and cooling. The new hall, which is being built by Weinberg ’93 Építő Kft. and will be fully compliant with our sustainability principles, is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

“At Wing, we strive to have a balanced portfolio with the right amount of BTS and speculative developments. We are committed to offering standard or immediately available expansion solutions and catering to unique needs. We are proud that we will soon welcome a new tenant to East Gate Pro Business Park – this will be a long-term partnership in a BTS arrangement," says Zsófia Korda, Wing Zrt.’s corporate sales relations and business development chief sales officer (CSO).

"The development of halls with an additional area of 20,000 square meters is currently in the preparation stage at East Gate Pro Business Park, and three halls with a total area of nearly 30,000 square meters have already been completed. The development is a great addition to WING Industrial’s portfolio, and it will improve the industrial and logistics infrastructure of the North Pest region," she adds.

East Gate Pro is the second phase of the East Gate Business Park project, offering modern and customizable warehousing solutions at the junction of the M0 and M3 motorways. The park’s high-tech buildings offer hall spaces suitable for production, assembly, fulfilment, and warehousing, with high-quality office and service functions. Like the already completed halls, hall B2 is expected to obtain Breeam "Very Good" sustainability certification.
