OTP CEO-chairman Sándor Csányi still richest Hungarian

Sándor Csányi, a food industry magnate who also heads Hungary's biggest commercial bank, tops business daily Napi Gazdaság's latest list of the richest Hungarians. The paper's "The 100 Richest Hungarians" special issue, published Friday, puts Csányi's worth at HUF 135 billion. László Bige, who is active in the chemicals industry, is runner-up with assets of HUF 130 billion. In third place is IT and entertainment industry investor György Gattyán, with assets of HUF 118 billion. The investor Gábor Várszegi is in fourth place with assets of HUF 110 billion and property developer Sándor Demján is in fifth with assets of HUF 90 billion.
