Awards

Hungarian-owned NNG, the developer of world-renowned navigation software iGo, today inaugurated its second center in Hungary, in Szeged, and expects to provide 200 jobs at the facility in the long-term, the firm said in a press release today.

Currently headcount is around 30 but is expected to jump to 50 in a few months. NNG is dedicated to keeping development in Hungary, and to attracting the most talented IT professionals in the country.

“We have serious expansion plans, in which the center in Szeged plays an important role. Our colleagues in the center have been working on the greatest global project in NNG’s history,” the Acting CEO at NNG Péter Szombathelyi said today.

“It is very exciting to see our team in Szeged growing and taking a greater role in development. We work closely together with other NNG teams, and we are very proud to contribute to NNG’s global operations without leaving our city,” Zsombor Fritz, head of development in Szeged said.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
