Nestlé Hungary to export Easter sweets to 23 countries

The Hungarian subsidiary of food industry giant Nestlé expects to export Easter-themed sweets produced at its factory in Diósgyőr to a total of 23 countries this year, the company announced yesterday according to reports.
The Hungarian unit is the only subsidiary of the multinational company that specializes in producing moulded chocolate figures, the company noted. The chocolate figures in an Easter theme will be exported to distant countries as well such as Brazil, Japan, New Zealand, the United States, and Ecuador, according to reports.
The Hungarian plant of Nestlé last year employed a staff of more than 600, producing approximately 67 million chocolate figures, around 4,000 tons of chocolate. Nestlé Hungária had revenue of HUF 118 billion in 2014, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
