Meditop inaugurates HUF 300 mln investment

Pharmaceutical company Meditop Gyógyszeripari today inaugurated a HUF 300 million investment at its plant on the outskirts of Budapest, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

Meditop installed an OʼHara tablet coater with credit from the National Bank of Hungaryʼs (MNB) Funding for Growth Scheme (FGS) as well as a European Union and state development grant. 

Meditop, owned by private Hungarian individuals, has invested HUF 3 billion in Hungary in the last six years and employs 170 people.

It had a loss of about HUF 100 mln on revenue of HUF 5.8 bln last year.
