Meat processing company MCS Vágóhíd, a unit of Hungarian agribusiness Bonafarm, will receive a government grant of HUF 1.3 billion to support a HUF 6.5 bln development to build a logistics and packaging plant in Mohács, southern Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The development is the second phase of Bonafarmʼs investment to build a HUF 7.3 bln slaughterhouse in Mohács. Szijjártó said the new slaughterhouse will process one million hogs a year.

The investment will create 211 new jobs, the minister added.
