Magyar Közút awards HUF 52 bln in road maintenance contracts

State road company Magyar Közút has awarded HUF 51.9 billion in road maintenance contracts, according to an announcement in the Public Procurement Gazette, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

The funding for the contracts is being covered by European Union funds.

In Northern Hungary, Colas Út, He-DO and HEDUT ʼ91 will carry out the work for HUF 8.3 bln.

In the Northern Great Plain region, Hódút and KE-VIZ 21 won a HUF 9.3 bln contract.

In the Southern Great Plain region, Duna Aszfalt and Hódút won a HUF 7.3 bln contract.

In Central Transdanubia and Central Hungary, EuroAszfalt and Colas Út won a HUF 10.7 bln contract. The same companies won a HUF 6.3 bln contract for work in Western Transdanubia.

In Southern Transdanubia, Soltút and Strabag Általános Építő won a HUF 9.9 bln contract.
