Investigation bureau: One of five Quaestor cases closed

One of the five cases involving the Quaestor brokerage firm, which filed for bankruptcy in the spring of last year, has come to a close, resulting in the arrest of 11 citizens now being charged with alleged fraud, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NNyI), reported today.

The investigation is still ongoing regarding the remaining four cases initiated by the bureau last spring, as five separate cases are being investigated, including: Fraud (now closed); embezzlement; money laundering; forgery of official documents; and misappropriation of funds. NNyI did not disclose any details about the progress of the remaining investigations. 

The NNyI did not confirm wether Csaba Tarsoly, who was Quaestorʼs CEO, is on the list of suspects.
