According to plans, the new section of the M6 motorway will be handed over in March, writes business daily Világgazdaság.

This means that drivers will be able to drive on the route as far as the Villány junction (214 km southwest of Budapest).

In addition, Croatia has started building a road at Beli Manastir.

According to local publication Pécsi Újság, the construction permit for a section between the Croatian town and the border may be issued in Croatia next spring. Once this highway is completed, a new road connection will be created between the two countries, the report notes.
