Bicycle Insurance Difficult to Find
Although 40% of the Hungarian population uses bicycles at least weekly, it is still not easy to find insurance in the domestic market that meets their needs, writes profitline.hu.
Most insurance companies involved only protect bicycles as additional insurance linked to other property insurance (mainly for homes), and the exclusion conditions of the individual products differ significantly.
The most valuable devices in the category, electric bicycles and scooters, can only be insured for three years, according to the analysis of the Hungarian Association of Independent Insurance Bargainers (FBAMSZ).
