Aldi Magyarország Rolls out 12% Pay Rise

Aldi Magyarország is raising staff pay by 12%, across the board, from January 1, the German-owned discount chain said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The pay rise is Aldi Magyarország's fourth in two years, the company said, adding that staff now earned at least 38% more.

Aldi Magyarország noted that 30% of its staff had been with the company for over five years.

The company has around 6,000 people on payroll.
