Another 240,000 Pfizer jabs delivered to Hungary

More than 240,000 doses of the COVID vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech were delivered to Hungary during the week, the local unit of Pfizer said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Pfizer Gyógyszerkereskedelmi said the latest shipment raises total deliveries of the Comirnaty vaccine to Hungary to over 10.6 million doses.

The unit said Pfizer has delivered COVID-19 vaccines to Hungary on a weekly basis for 10 months.

It added that over 1.5 million doses of the vaccine were delivered in the first quarter, more than 4.6 million jabs in the second quarter, and 3.2 million in the third.
