Waberer's Group Closes Acquisition of 55% Stake in MD Int'l

Listed Hungarian hauler Waberer's International on Thursday announced that its wholly-owned unit WSZL closed the acquisition of a 55% stake in MD International, a "major player" on the Serbian distribution market.

Waberer's Group announced in October the signing of an agreement on the transaction.

WSZL also received an option to acquire the remaining 45% stake in the company.

Last year, MD International had revenue of EUR 55 million and after-tax profit of EUR 1.8 mln.
