4iG Outlines Strategic Partnership With Rheinmetall

Listed Hungarian ICT company 4iG outlined its strategic partnership with Rheinmetall in a presentation to investors at the German defense industry company's capital markets day this week, according to a release on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

Rheinmetall acquired a 25.1% stake in 4iG in March 2022, and the two companies have set up a joint venture, Rheinmetall-4iG Digital Services, to undertake internal and third-party IT shared services.

4iG aims to capture "up to 100%" of Rheinmetall's global civilian IT spending by 2028.

4iG's strategic partnership with Rheinmetall also extends to digitalization in manufacturing, battlefield Internet of Things, private 5G networks, and space and technology concerning drone business developments and satellite opportunities.
