iGo Navigation free for the next ten days
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Hungarian-developed application iGo Navigation by NNG, Hungarians can now download the program for both iOs and Android systems for free for the next ten days, NNG announced today in a press release.
The first version of iGo Navigation was developed by four programmers in a small Budapest flat in 2005, and has since grown into an internationally recognized firm employing 770 with plans to raise headcount by 200 this year. NNG has offices in eight countries and its navigation system is used in 30 car makes as a standard accessory. The press release noted that it has more than 20 million users.
“Everything we achieved, we’ve done with Hungarian professionals,” NNG co-founder and CEO Péter Balogh (pictured) said. “I am proud of the team and of all we could accomplish,” he added. “To celebrate our first ten years, we are offering a gift to the country in which we began,” he said.
The application entitled “SzülinApp” will be available to download for free for the next ten days, and contains an entire map of Hungary with a capacity for offline navigation.
