Hungary-U.S. Business Council to hold forum in July
The Hungarian-U.S. Business Council will hold a meeting in Budapest in July to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, the organizationʼs president, Eric Stewart, told state-owned news channel M1 yesterday.
The focus of the meeting is to encourage dialogue between American businesses operating here, or looking to invest in Hungary, and Hungarian government representatives, Stewart said.
The forum is open to all sectors looking to explore the untapped potential in Hungarian tourism, national defense, life sciences, software development and other innovative fields. Similarly, the Council would like to see more Hungarian companies enter the U.S. market and is promoting dialogue between U.S. government officials as well.
Hungary is in an advantageous geographic position, particularly for those companies that would like to invest or boost their existing investments in Hungary, Stewart added.
