The Hungarian government today launched a program entitled INPUT to support ICT startups in Hungary with HUF 2.5 billion in European Union funding, according to reports.

Based on program regulations, funding cannot be granted to businesses but it must be spent on presentations, interactive workshops and consulting, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today citing the state secretary for ICT and consumer protection.

The government expects to reach approximately 800 startups outside of the capital; approximately 300 are to receive help in launching their innovative developments and around 200 startups are expected to receive assistance in entering markets abroad.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
