The Hungarian Embassy in Vienna hosted a business forum Tuesday, where the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) delivered a presentation and the head of Austriaʼs Marzek Group spoke about the companyʼs experience investing in Hungary, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

László Szabó, state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said he held talks with officials of Austriaʼs foreign ministry and representatives of Austrian companies with investments in Hungary. Feedback has improved compared to earlier years, he added.

More than 2,000 Austrian-owned companies operate in Hungary, employing a total of some 70,000 people.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
