Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó reportedly said the Hungarian government will support the new investment with a HUF 411 million grant.

The expansion that was open Friday created 75 jobs, raising headcount at the company to 700, while the newly announced investment is expected to double the capacity of the plant, MTI reported.

Commenting on the completed work on Friday, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies CEO Claus Mohlenkamp said the newly expanded production facility is expected to produce about 9 million seals per month, mainly for the automotive industry, MTI added.
