Földgép Trans to invest HUF 2 bln in Tiszasziget

Hungary-based firm Földgép Trans, which has been active mainly in the construction industry until now, is planning to construct a HUF 2 billion plastics processing plant in Tiszasziget, southern Hungary, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Construction of the plant is scheduled to be launched in June next year, with production potentially to start at the factory in the fall of 2018, company representative Csaba Pitrik was reported as saying. Once the 1,000 square-meter plant starts operating at full capacity, the headcount could reach 55, according to reports.
The plantʼs heating and electrical systems will be partly based on technologies using renewable energy, Pitrik was reported as saying today by online local news source szegedma.hu. The plant will produce technical plastics and food industry packaging, he added.
The investment is part of a six-hectare agricultural logistics industrial park planned for Tiszasziget, szegedma.hu reported.
